Oatmeal is Just an Attention Seeker?
wrote in ASOV that I'm an attention seeker today. That is not exactly accurate. He wrote that I am not asking for help on websites like http://CouchSurfing.org. That is not true. I do not just merely eat up attention. I help people. That is my purpose in my life. I ask for help. I told people that I lost my bike and phone as my way of asking for help. I am always making new friends. Too often, people take me out of context. They do not see my relevance. It is too bad.

Maybe he doesn't have decent social skills for whatever reason but come on, if he can't deal with it he shouldn't be so deliberately provocative. Joey is an attention seeker. You know why he loves it out here? He gets a lot of attention. More than he would in his home country. More than he would in most asian countries. He gets so much sympathy, he eats it up. Evidence that he is asking for all of the attention he gets, good and bad is how on couchsurfing, he felt the need to tell everybody that he lost his bike and phone. Why, its not a personal journal. He didnt post for help, just attention. He posts randomly in other peoples posts. a french student asking for friends while in vietnam. He posts that he is from america. That is all. No relation to their post. No offer to join. He asked for lots of help to harass this group on couchsurfing all because he cant keep getting attention here directly. People offer sympathy. He eats it up. He definitely has mental issues and he doesnt need sympathy. He needs deportation. In his own country he would likely get himself stuck into a mental institution at some point due to the severity of his issues, but here he just wanders around and gets lots of sympathy and somehow survives on cheapness and kindness.45 minutes ago · Like ·
